What Dreams May Come
This year for Christmas there was a present under the tree for me from “The Beaglez” – when I opened it up – it was a Lego White House – from the Lego Architecture series. It was tons of fun to put together (500 pieces!), and the instruction book came with the story of the White House and its renovations over the years. It seems like one thing the White House has always done is develop with the need of the times. Let’s hope that remains true.
From The Beaglez to you – Thanks so much for reading – and have a Happy New Year!

What a fun gift! And I love your statement – “develop with the need of the times.” I hope we see some maturing and reason develop in Congress in 2012. No one should have to live through that debacle again.
Happy New Year! Yes – the Beaglez did a great job with the gift this year. Normally they get me socks then steal them. I have read a lot of articles today from various sources hoping 2012 will be a more civil and productive year. That’s my hope as well.
President Briscoe … ha ha … did Belle get an appointment?
Happy New Year!
Ha ha ha — She seems to be “Under-secretary of Following the Rules” – for which Belle is well suited. I think Buddy would like to become “Chief Taster of Staff Meals”.
Happy New Year, Frank!
Love you blog and them witty dogs of yours. Happy New year.
Thanks so much, Hansi! Happy New Year to you!
Mom Beaglebratz here – Wish I had been able to be around more but here now. Glad to know the White House has developed with the times and I know we could do no worse with President Briscoe there than we have with President Obama. However I am watching/listening to the Iowa caucus and surely the American people are smarter than what the numbers are showing right now – if Ron Paul would get into the White House, we wouldn’t have a trickle down effect, it would be waterfalls and floods – dams would burst. Cutting aid to the military? I work at a Veterans Hospital and I hear about and see the veteran homelessness and unemployment problems. Doing away with the Department of Education.- talk about kids being left behind. How is putting thousands of people out of work suppose to help the economy?
PS – I’m sorry for all this grinching and griping – just those two issues I listed get my blood beyond the boiling point.
Yes, i do really hope we have better things come out of Washington D.C. in 2012 then we did in 2011.
Wishing you and the Beaglez a Happy New Year!
Kim
Hello Team Beaglebratz! – You’re always welcome to visit – and gripe if you want. I’m just finishing up tonight’s Beaglez, and I’m afraid the girls are headed to bed before the results come in — still – I agree — no one in Iowa seems to have a sense of what our country needs – from Government or from each other. It’s been split into 3 all night — Religious (santorum), Mainstream (Romney), and Everyone else (Paul). I read somewhere that Herman Cain even got 23 votes. Guess those folks don’t keep up with the news very much.
Hope all is well on the beaglebratz front and you all have a beautiful new year!
