A GOP Christmas Story…
More and more frequently I find myself saying, “Who is managing these campaigns???” It’s one thing for a candidate to misspeak or make a mistake. But certainly someone on the staff can recognize these problems before they happen. Herman Cain’s campaign faltered not as much because of the accusations, but because of the bumbling, odd way he handled them. Certainly someone on Perry’s staff thought “Hey, that coat looks familiar”, and why didn’t anyone research Mitt’s slogan before starting it? Newt’s infidelity issues and the GOP “poison pill” house bill could have used a savvy campaign manager to advise and guide people through these more murky waters. But, no. The campaigns are running wild, and the candidates are running with them. So – someone who can get both parties on an even keel and minimize the errors – would definitely be on my Christmas list!
Note: The Beaglez want to thank our friend Erin for suggesting we look into Rick Perry’s choice of coat as part of today’s post.

I’m following the race less and less … and I’m a political junky … well, I was.
If anything can turn one of politics – this race would be it. Although it’s less like a race and more like a slow embarrassing crawl through the mud.
